Cyberstamp Challenge

Hi there, just a quick post to show you one of the cards I've made for our monthly Cyberstamp Night. The first Challenge was to CASE a card from anywhere and change either the stamp set used or the colour combo. I just got Bugs and Kisses this week and I really wanted to use it, so I cased the card from the Catalogue, p. 66, changing the colours.

My best friends daughter is 7 now and ever since she was tiny she has had a love of strange and creepy critters. Her mother is constantly finding various bugs and lizards living in containers in her room. So I thought I would use some "Holly" colours and send it off to her, I think she'll love it!

While the catty used Wasabi, White and various blues, I've gone for Certainly Celery, Very Vanilla, Passion Pink and Orchid Opulence for the CS. The inks were Celery, Orchid, and Lovely Lilac for the Grasshopper, which is also clear embossed. The sentiment was stamped in Versamark and embossed in Gold. The catty version has a button on the right hand side, which I replaced with a large Fire brad in Pink. The one from the catty has machine stitching along the bottom as well, but I've just done one row of piercing under the Vanilla. I think it turned out quite well, but we'll have to wait and see what Holly thinks.

Thanks for looking, gotta run,

Kristie
