Seeing as my gorgeous new niece Lara is one week old today, I thought I had better show you the card that I made for her:This one is BIG....a whole A4 sheet, folded in half. I made it big partly because such a momentous event needed something spectacular, and partly because the chipboard letters I used to spell her name are quite large and would have overwhelmed a smaller card.
I have no information on whether Lara liked it, but her mummy does and that's the main thing :)
Supplies:
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Ruby Red, Very Vanilla
Stamps: Bold Butterfly, Warm Words
Ink: Ruby Red, Pretty in Pink
Other: Basic Grey "Two Scoops" DP, chipboard letters & heart, Pretty in Pink taffeta ribbon, Prima flowers, Ruby Red brads, Corner rounder, two-way glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds glitter
I am really looking forward to seeing Miss Lara in a few weeks time, until then I have to make do with pictures....which is not quite the same! I can't wait to get home and give her lots of cuddles and smell that delicious new baby smell....isn't that the yummiest smell in the whole world?
OK, work is finished for the day and I'm going to go make a card for Kristina Werner's CI challenge...no Pumpkin Pie this week so I'm happy :) I'm not even going to make it a Christmas card, although those colours are very tempting!
Hope your Wednesday was/is awesome,
Kristie

Adorable Kristie!
thats adorable!
Perfect little girl card...I'm sure she loved it too..! {SMILES}
how cute :)
I saw that there was no Pumpkin Pie in the color challenge this time, and I thought of you!
And I like your reasoning for the A4 card size. Not only is Lara WORTH it, but the letters you chose would be too big for an A2 card. That is sooo an excuse I would use myself. ;-)
What really sweet and beautiful card, Kristi! I love all of it right down to those precious flowers in the lower right hand corner.
i betcha $20 (aus or american...your choice...) that when you reach said niece's abode this ♥AMAZING♥ CREATION is hanging on her bedroom door or over her cradle!!! (wow!!!)
