I really love this colour combination of Black, White & Basic Gray....it's just classic and timeless. I also loved the cute hair clip that Kristina has used for the inspiration photo...& while I don't have any striped flowers. I do have some super cute black & white polka dot ones that immediately sprang to mind when I saw this picture. So, here's my card:
I started with a Basic Black card base, embossed the sentiment and swirl from the Sale-A-Bration set *Yummy* in black embossing powder and added 3 of the flowers. The flower centres are white American Crafts buttons, threaded with black cotton. I added a simple white panel to the inside for writing on & it was done.I love a quick card like this...it took less than 20 mins to put together! So simple, yet the colour scheme makes it dramatic and interesting.
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend...I plan to have a quiet and relaxing one!
