Mum’s the word

Next Sunday is Mother’s day, and it’s nice to have had this Magnolia Down Under challenge a week before the day so I could have a nice card made for my Mama….only problem is that it’s in a box in the garage and I don’t know which one!!!!! At least with the sentiment on it I can give it to her at any time…but it does mean that I’ll have to get in and make another one while she’s at work this week!

Mum's-the-Word

For this card I used Tilda with Tulips and took my colours from the lovely ribbon, flowers and lacy edged paper that the lovely Bec sent me with my first order of Magnolia stamps. The colours are also lovely autumn ones that suit this time of year :) The AC Thickers that I used to spell out *Mum* were white, but a run over with the appropriate Copic marker and they match perfectly. I also used some SU Sage Shadow and More Mustard CS and the *for you* stamp is SU as well…however, the name of the stamp escapes me and as I don’t have all my stamps right here in their shelves to check I just can’t tell you :) I will try and find out which one it is though!

I hope you’re all having a lovely weekend. It’s a bit chilly here in Warwick tonight (Saturday) as I write this….time to bundle up in a warm dressing gown and curl up with a good book I think :)
