The Sweetest Things
This is the scrapbook page I finished this week. You would never think that so simple a page would have taken so long! But I love this photo of my nephew and nieces and I wanted it to be perfect....unfortunately, I had a little rub-on mishap...so don't look too closely at the bottom right corner :)
I wanted the main focus to be the photo and so I ended up keeping it pretty simple, but I'm happy with the way it turned out. All supplies for this one are SU!, except for the black brads, which came from my stash and I can't remember the manufacturer. The rub-ons are Urban West, the stars were made with the small star punch, the scallop is the Scallop circle punch, and the ric rac is from the 'Beachfront' ribbon originals.
I'm going to try and get some creating done today...I want to make just a couple more Christmas cards for the kids....I like the idea of sending them each a card, rather than just one to the whole family, so that's on my to do list for today.
Hope you're all having a nice weekend,
Kristie

Kristie, this is so pretty, love everything about it.
This is stunning Kristie...I LOVE the simplicity and the rub-ons look gorgeous! Those are some beautiful children! {SMILES}
Absolutely gorgeous! But of course I would say that though...it seems we have the same scrapping style. Just wondering if you have bought that Wild Rose set yet...hehe
Your page is beautiful. The best pages usually take longer than you think they will, but it is totally worth it when they turn out like this one!
Gorgeous Children!! Oh yeah, that's 'cause their MINE!!! Mwhaahahahaha. Nice layout too!! ;-)
well NO actually *I* would not be at all surprised that "simple" takes a lot longer than complicated...but...i am a bit startled to hear YOU say that since you are SO GOOD at that sort of thing!!! on the other hand, said page was VERY CLEARLY worth the wait!!!
(ps: i have looked closely at the bottom RH corner...well DUH i'm *ME* and you told me NO so of course i did...but my point (yes, i DO SO have one!!!) is that even having scrutinized i still cannot see said rub-on mishap so it must be infinitessimal indeed!) (you're welcome!) :) :) :)
What a great SB page! I love the simplicity of it and the photo is perfect!
