Hey there Cupcake!

LOL…today’s Magnolia Down Under challenge (#8) has the theme *Cupcake* hence the reason for today’s title :) I had to buy this *Love Muffin* stamp especially for today’s challenge…well that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!!!!

Here’s the card I made:

Cupcake-for-web

Of course I had to make a chocolate cupcake (I don’t believe there is any other kind of cake…LOL) and I love green and pink with chocolate, so that took care of the colour scheme. Hope you like it :)

Supplies

Cardstock: Pixie Pink, Chocolate Chip, Neenah Solar Crest (for the cupcake)

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Chocolate Chip and Copic Markers

Stamps: Magnolia *Love Muffin*, Odd Bird Planet sentiment

Other Stuff: Wide Satin Choc Chip Ribbon, Designer Label punch, American Crafts Button (coloured with Copic marker), Linen thread, Certainly Celery DSP & brads, Dimensionals.

So I’m going to take a little Sunday afternoon nap…it’s perfect weather for it too…rainy and miserable.

I hope it’s sunny and nice wherever you are,

Nope. Rainy & miserable here too. But, I'm babysitting my granddaughter today and she's a ray of sunshine.

Hi Kristie, just popped by to say a big 'thank you' for taking the time to leave a very useful comment on my blog. As suggested, I'll get my act together and get Windows Live Writer happening. BTW - like your blog. Your cards are gorgeous. You're one very talented woman!! Lee :)

I love that stamp! And your color combo is awesome.

The rain here finally stopped, and the weekend has been glorious. I have all the windows and doors open to let in the Spring.

Hope you enjoyed your nap! Rainy days are the BEST for that!

That card is YUMMY! This has your signature style that I love. I wish I were voting, because I would choose you :)

Yes, of course chocolate SHOULD be the only choice. When I was a little girl, my mom would always get vanilla ice cream and I always got chocolate. Every time I would ask my mom (incredulously), "Why did you get VANILLA?" She always replied, "Because I like it." I still don't get it. Why do they even make vanilla??? Chocolate is the only logical option.
I rarely get chocolate milk shakes because they use VANILLA ice cream with chocolate syrup. Do these numskulls actually think I can't taste the vanilla???! Life is so unfair...
