Mojo Monday #80

I really loved Julee's sketch for this week's Mojo Monday and I finally found time to do it!

Mojo80Sketch

I started this one out with a colour challenge as well, but I didn't like the way it looked, so I pulled it apart and salvaged the image and sentiment and re-did the rest :)

Isn't this Tilda with Tulips just adorable? I just got this one and couldn't wait to play with her. I got a couple of other new ones too, but I'm saving them for future Magnolia Down Under Challenges, just so you don't get bored with them :)

I stamped Tilda onto some Neenah Solar Crest with Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured her with Copics. {Quick question...are you interested in knowing what colours I've used? If you are then I will make sure to write them down and include them in my supply list}. The base is Rose Red, the layers are Very Vanilla, Choc Chip and Ballet Blue. The DSP is *Berry Bliss* and the stamps come from a Simply Sent kit and are called *Simple Delights*. The ribbon is Vanilla taffeta.

I am so loving Damask pattern right now...I'm very tempted to buy Dawn McVey's Damask set from PTI...but their shipping charges to Australia are outrageous! I might just have to search for something else. I lined up the damask stamp on the Vanilla layer with my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig. The medallion was stamped in Close to Cocoa with the sentiment in Choc Chip and then punched out with the 1 3/8" circle and mounted onto the Scalloped circle. The little circles on the left were stamped and then punched out with the 1/2" circle punch. All the layers were mounted with Stampin' Dimensionals.

That's about it for today...I'm off to finish my Easter cards for the kids. I got a cute Bunny image from Squigglefly and have had so much fun colouring it...hope the kids like it :) Have a great weekend,

Signature

So cute! YOU are making me like these Tildas...but I am not ready to color such large images (especially faces). I think I will try a small MFT stamp first for practice :)

I like the combo you used of papers and stamps. Niiiiiice!

This is really pretty! Like June said, I tend to avoid images that need too much coloring, but I can appreciate them when OTHER people use them!

I like Damask, too, and your paper is wonderful! I did not get that set from PTI ... I don't think ...

I can see why you like Tildas! They've got to be one of the cutest little girls around! And you definitely do her justice!

This is beautiful. I love the bright colors that you used on her flowers & clothes. And that BG paper is gorgeous!
