Earlier today I was looking at the fabulous Miss June’s blog and I saw a very pretty card that I just adored. Looking at it again now (when I went to grab the link) I realised that I must have loved it more than I initially thought, because I’ve sort of *borrowed* from the layout as well….LOL! Have a look at mine, then pop on over and look at June’s and you’ll see what I mean. Here’s my version of a *June card*…
The DP is the gorgeous Basic Grey Wisteria line (6x6 pad), as is the pretty blue button. The image and sentiment are from Friends 24-7…the flowers are stamped in Stazon on watercolour paper and coloured with markers and inkpads while the sentiment is stamped in Elegant Eggplant ink to match the ribbon. I used the new Eyelet border punch on the Sage Shadow layer. The other 2 CS colours are Certainly Celery for the base and Baja Breeze for the layers. Oh yeah, I rounded all the corners ‘cause I just felt like it …lol!!!
This card is so soft and pretty IRL…so thanks for the inspiration June, I needed it :)
Hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend,

Hi, Sweetie! I was cruising my blog reader...I am so behind on leaving comments...looking at the cards and I thought, "Am I caught up to yesterday? Is that my card? Nope, it is the new and improved June card...the Kristie card!" I love those sentiments; didn't think I NEEDED anymore *sigh* apparently I do :)
Nice to know Certainly Celery and Elegant Eggplant coordinate with these dps. Thanks!
Beautiful card Kristie - we all get inspired by others - nothing worng with that - and this one is certainly inspiring!
xXx
I am Queen of the CASE, so welcome to my world! And who better to inspire you than June!
Your card is GORJUS! Who knew that Sage Shadow and Certainly Celery would work so well together?! I may have to break out my Wisteria papers (I think I have TWO pads!) and give this a whirl!
this is stunning. those soft colors are just beautiful.
hugs,
Beautiful card Kristie! I hope you're feeling better!
