Some Garden Whimsy

I LOVE the Garden Whimsy stamp set, especially that cute little snail! Who would have thought a snail could be called cute? I've made a few cards using it, but here's just a couple.

This first one is stamped in Orchid Opulence and Wild Wasabi on Whisper White CS. I very carefully inked the top of the tulip with the Orchid ink and the bottom with the Wasabi. The butterfly is in Orchid and the snail in Wasabi. It's matted onto a piece of Wild Wasabi CS and then onto an Orchid Opulence card . The sentiment is stamped in Pretty in Pink and the edges of the white CS are inked in Orchid too.

This second card was really very quick and easy to make. The base is Blue Bayou and the butterfly and the lady beetles are stamped in Purely Pomegranate and the snail in Wild Wasabi. The flower was made by punching 5 ovals from Purely Pomegranate CS with the small oval punch and they're held together at the bottom with a Fire Rhinestone brad in pink. It was stuck on with Dimensionals and the stem is a piece of Wild Wasabi Ribbon. I made the leaves by cutting two small pieces of Wasabi ribbon, looping them over and securing them with glue dots. Finally the sentiment is from Short and Sweet and stamped in Blue Bayou.

Thanks for looking, I hope you're having a great day, wherever you are.

How did I miss these???? They are gorgeous! I love the color choices and they are soooo springy! I'm sure all that rain you got recently has made the flowers bloom!!! {SMILES}

Very clever Kristie! I might have to copy that idea of the oval punch flower. Looks great :D
