Cutting it close again with this one! As I mentioned earlier in the week, Paula is running another MM challenge this week with the colours Cameo Coral, Close to Cocoa and Whisper White.
Cameo Coral is one of those colours I rarely use and find rather difficult to work with, so this one was much harder than the last challenge. But I did manage to come up with this card:
I've used Bloomin' with Beauty and watercoloured the pot of flowers with Cocoa and Coral {I did *cheat* and use some Olive for the leaves}. This was mounted onto some Coral CS and I added a scalloped border in White along the bottom and tied some Cocoa ribbon around it. The base is Cocoa and the DP is from Spring Flowers. I stamped the *Bloom* sentiment in Cocoa and it was done. It's actually rather pretty IRL...but when I took the picture I was running out of light and it looks a little washed out :)
OK, that's it for now....off to play with some weekend sketch challenges,
Kristie

What a beautiful card, I like this stamp set alot but have quite a few flower ones so I decided against it as I "had" to buy a couple more christmas ones and the budget only goes so far.
Very nice, Miss Kristie!
I received a fabulous card from someone special yesterday...all the way from Australia :)
This looks gorgeous Kristie! You did a great job with the colours!

This is fabulous Kristie! Love the colors you used and your coloring is perfect! {SMILES}
very pretty. cameo coral goes well with the hunter green color (that I cannot, for the life of me remember). It seems an odd combo but looks very nice together. :) I used the combo in a workshop once and everyone loved it. :)
I really like it to Kristie,
I think you are the winner again.
It is such a pretty card!
